Social Platform Community Guidelines

These guidelines are intended to maintain a safe, respectful, and constructive environment across Shinri Trial’s social platforms. They apply only to communication outside the game client and do not govern in-game conduct.

1. General Provisions

1.1 Language

All public text and voice communication must be in English.

Exception: International users may use their native language to ask questions or request clarification.

1.2 Administrator Discretion

The Head Administrator may issue penalties for conduct not explicitly covered by these rules.

Note: A warning-first approach generally applies: Warning → Penalty. Exceptions may be made in serious cases.

1.3 Changes to the Rules

Project management may revise or expand these rules at any time. Users will be notified of changes through the official Updates channel, and all changes take effect as soon as the announcement is published.

1.4 Appeals and Complaints

An appeal must be submitted within 48 hours of the penalty being issued. The same deadline applies to complaints submitted to Support: the complaint must be written and sent within this period.

Clarification: Appeals or complaints submitted after the deadline will not be reviewed and will be rejected.

Note: If you are currently banned, you may appeal the penalty by sending a direct message to the Head Administrator.

1.5 Scope of Moderation

Moderation applies to:

project social platforms, including Discord, Reddit, and TikTok;
other content-sharing platforms;
direct messages with an administrator or another member of the Shinri Trial team;
direct messages between players when they involve threats, disclosure of personal information, or unlawful conduct.

Clarification: These rules may apply to conduct occurring outside official Shinri Trial servers. Moderation may take action may be taken in response to severe abuse directed at the project team or serious violations of applicable law.

2. Accounts and Profiles

Sharing, selling, trading, or otherwise transferring an account to another person is prohibited.

Penalty: Permanent ban.

2.2 Inappropriate Profiles

NSFW avatars and provocative or offensive usernames and statuses are prohibited. Profiles must not contain inappropriate content or content that violates these guidelines.

Penalty: Mute until the profile is changed / ban for 15–30 days.

2.3 Ban Evasion

Creating or using another account to bypass restrictions, mutes, or bans is prohibited.

Penalty: All accounts banned for 180 days / permanent ban.

3. Conduct and Content

3.1 Aggression, Threats, Provocation, and Toxicity

All forms of aggressive behavior are prohibited, including direct or veiled threats, insults, provocation, deliberately starting conflicts, and pressuring other community members. Communication must remain respectful and must not make the community uncomfortable or hostile for others.

Penalty: Warning / mute for 3–90 days / ban for 15–30 days / permanent ban.

3.2 Indirect Abuse of Relatives

Veiled, indirect, ironic, sarcastic, or joking references to another community member’s relatives are prohibited when used in an abusive or provocative manner.

Penalty: Mute for 5–30 days / ban for 15–30 days.

3.3 Direct Abuse of Relatives

Direct insults, threats, humiliation, or other hostile and aggressive statements directed at another community member’s relatives are prohibited.

Penalty: Mute for 30–60 days / ban for 15–30 days / permanent ban.

3.4 Hate Speech and Discrimination

Statements that promote hatred or discrimination based on race, nationality, religion, gender, or social background are prohibited. Insults, degrading generalizations, negative claims about groups of people, and any other promotion of hostility are not permitted.

3.5 Advertising and Self-Promotion

Direct or indirect promotion of third-party projects, websites, social media accounts, or content unrelated to Shinri Trial is prohibited.

Penalty: Warning / mute for 1 year / permanent ban.

Exception: Promotion may be permitted when most of the content is dedicated to Shinri Trial.

3.6 Spam, Flooding, and Mention Abuse

Repeated messages, mention spam, reaction spam, and excessive text formatting are prohibited.

Penalty: Warning / mute for 1–15 days.

3.7 Audio Spam

Loud, harsh, disruptive, or frightening sounds are prohibited in voice channels. This includes music played without the consent of other participants, screaming, noise, soundboard effects, and any other audio disruption. The rule also applies to voice messages containing such sounds or used to make other users uncomfortable.

3.8 Politics

Political discussions, arguments, slogans, campaigning, and political symbols—including flags and emojis—used in the context of political statements are prohibited.

3.9 NSFW Content

Posting, forwarding, or discussing sexual, violent, shocking, or otherwise explicitly provocative content is prohibited. This includes images, videos, text, and links to such material.

Penalty: Warning / mute for 7–30 days / permanent ban.

3.10 Roleplay Content

Roleplay activity is prohibited on Shinri Trial’s social platforms.

Penalty: Warning / mute for 1–3 days.

3.11 Off-Topic Content and Channel Clutter

Systematically posting messages unrelated to a channel’s purpose or deliberately cluttering discussions with irrelevant content is prohibited. This includes frequent off-topic messages, repeatedly derailing conversations, unrelated message spam, and posting content in the wrong channel.

Penalty: Warning / mute for 1–7 days.

Note: Occasional off-topic comments are permitted when they do not disrupt the conversation or become a recurring issue.

4. Moderation and Support-System Abuse

4.1 Interfering with a Moderator

Users must not obstruct moderators or administrators while they are performing their duties. This includes interrupting them, ignoring instructions, arguing while a decision is being enforced, or otherwise making their work more difficult. Questions and disagreements should be raised respectfully after the moderator’s instructions have been followed.

4.2 Disrespecting a Moderator

Insults, abusive remarks, and other forms of disrespect toward moderators or administrators are prohibited. Aggressive arguments, sarcasm intended to demean, humiliation, provocation, or attempts to discredit moderation decisions in public chat are not permitted. All communication with the team must remain respectful.

4.3 Impersonation

Impersonating a moderator or any other member of the Shinri Trial team is prohibited.

Penalty: Warning / mute for 15–30 days / ban for 15–30 days / permanent ban.

4.4 Abuse of the Ticket System

The following are prohibited:

false tickets;
duplicate tickets;
tickets submitted as a joke or for the purpose of trolling.

4.5 Deceiving the Administration

Attempting to deceive Shinri Trial administrators or moderators for personal benefit is prohibited.

Penalty: Warning / mute for up to 7 days / ban for 7–30 days.

Note: Any deliberate attempt to misrepresent facts or gain an advantage through deception is considered a violation, even if no benefit was ultimately obtained.

Examples: Submitting fabricated evidence, withholding important information, impersonating another player, or misleading an administrator or moderator to avoid a penalty.

5. Serious Violations and Abuse

5.1 Personal Information

Collecting, publishing, or threatening to publish another community member’s personal information is prohibited.

Penalty: Ban for 30–90 days / permanent ban.

5.2 Concealing Bugs or Violations

Deliberately withholding information from the administration about rule violations, bug exploitation, vulnerabilities, exploits, or other activity that could harm community members or the project is prohibited. Ignoring or concealing such conduct may be treated as assisting the violation.

5.3 Defamation and Reputational Harm

Deliberate attempts to damage the reputation of Shinri Trial, its administration, or members of its community are prohibited. This includes:

knowingly spreading false or misleading information;
presenting statements out of context in a misleading way;
deliberately undermining trust in the Shinri Trial team without evidence;
repeatedly and publicly attempting to discredit the project.

Penalty: Warning / mute for 10–90 days / ban for 30–180 days / permanent ban.

5.4 Prohibited Attachments

Only images, GIFs, and videos that comply with these guidelines may be posted. Archives, executable files, and suspicious links are prohibited.

5.5 Malicious Content

Distributing malicious or dangerous content is prohibited. This includes malware, phishing links, scams, attempts to deceive users, and links or files intended to gain access to another person’s account, personal information, or device.

Penalty: Ban for 180 days / permanent ban.

Note: The sender is responsible for the content even if it was shared as a joke or without understanding the possible consequences.
